*(1)What or who BHS*
BORROWDALE HATCLIFFE SOCCER ACADEMY popularly known as BHS or BH is a non-profit making soccer academy based in Harare northern high-density suburb called Hatcliffe where the club derived its name and that of its neighboring low-density suburb called Borrowdale.

*(2)The reason for this project*
The club was formed in 2002 and the reason for this project was to take away youngsters from the streets and away from crime, drug abuse, early childhood marriages, and related misfortunes which is usually associated with unemployed youth, and also to let them consider taking up sports as a profession

*(3)Number of teams*
We have nine(9) age groups as follows:

& an open age group

Girls under
• 15

*(4)Teams and age groups*
Currently, we have nine(9) age groups both boys and girls included. The boys under 10 to 18 teams play in the Zifa Harare Province Junior football development league as we are an affiliate to them and 20 and an open age group plays in Zifa amateur area zones leagues. The girls play in local area zone leagues.

*(5)Trainers and Coaches*
We have 5 Voluntary coaches who oversee the day-to-day training of these teams.Three(3) of the five(5) coaches are qualified coaches, there hold Junior football development coaching badges level 1,2,&3 respectively and the other two(2) has vast experience in working with children as there once worked with childcare organizations

*(6)Challenges*
The major challenges we face as an academy is transport to and from the games, finances, that is money for affiliations match fees

*(7)Resources needed*
Resources and equipment needed to efficiently run the academy are as follows:
•Transport.
•Laptops x2.
•Training kit.
•Uniforms
•Balls,
•Corns
•Bibs
•Soccer boots
and other related materials.

*(8)Cost of running the club:*
The cost of running the club on a weekly basis is estimated at over $150.the cost arises from transport and matches fees.
